During the winter 2010-2011 a second ship, the 2376 passenger Norwegian Jewel will be placed in New York City by Norwegian Cruise Line. The Jewel will join 2384 passenger Norwegian Gem that already sails from New York during winters. In that way Norwegian Cruise Line will expand offerings by doubling its winter capacity.
The two cruise ships will sail to Florida and Bahamas.
In the winter 2006 was the list time when Norwegian Cruise Line has two ships sailed to Caribbean.
